Can I submit a haunted location?
Yes! Visit the Submit a Location page (/submit-a-location) to fill out the form. You'll need a free Ghouler account. All submissions are reviewed by our team before going live.
How is the Haunt Intensity determined?
Haunt Intensity (Level I–V) is based on the volume, variety, and consistency of structured paranormal data attached to a location — including documented experiences, known entity types, reported hotspots, and visitor-submitted structured data. It is not based on opinion votes. Level I means sparse mentions; Level V means a richly documented, landmark paranormal profile.
Can I partner with Ghouler?

How do you source your information?
We combine online research, AI-assisted data gathering, and firsthand accounts from real investigators. Investigators can submit their own experiences — including which entities they encountered, where in the location, and at what times — which feeds directly into our archive.
Is Ghouler free to use?
Yes. The full archive is publicly accessible at no cost. We believe paranormal research should be open to everyone.
